Batchelor Heights

Batchelor Heights is located in the north sector of Kamloops, built onto the hillside offering beautiful views of the North Thompson River, while being only a short drive down from all amenities.  Located 10 minutes from downtown Kamloops, Batchelor offers housing options from one level townhouses to large, custom style homes. The area is quickly expanding and the neighbourhood has slowly expanded into the Westsyde community.

Batchelor Heights is home to Saddleback Park, which is fully fenced and a great place for residents to take their young families for an afternoon of play. Walking distance from the main road of Batch is numerous off-roading and dirt biking trails.  The Lac Du Bois Grassland Park is the newest grasslands protected area in the province which allows access to residents for hiking and exploration. McQueen Lake can be accessed by passing through the Lac Du Bois dirt road, which is a popular walking trail for students and families in the area.

THE SCHOOLS

At this time, Batchelor Heights does not have its own school however students attend school in nearby Westmount Elementary which is only a 5 minute drive away. Students in Gr 7-9 attend Brock Middle School which shares a field with Kay Bingham.  High school students attend Norkam Secondary School. On the North Side of Kamloops there is also multiple private and schools of choice (OLPH, Bert Edwards School of Technology, Kamloops Christian School, Francophone) within a very short distance from Batchelor Heights.
