Winter is near approaching its end and spring is shortly around the corner. Looking at this past month over last year, it can be seen how overall sales slowed down but the homes that did sell these past 31 days sold for more money and quicker which is a result of that lower newly offered inventory. Overall inventory is starting to climb giving more options for Buyers but shining a spot light on new listings – over these past couple months of winter we have seen homes that are in the highly sought after area under $500k have sold quickly compared to the $600 + market which has seen a slow down in market movement.
Brocklehurst experienced the highest numbers of sales in January, followed by Sahali and South Kamloops (downtown & lower Sahali).
